Spoil ur dad to bits!

Looking for ways to spoil your dad? Running short of ideas to make his day special? Check out this list of heart-warming ideas which are easy on the pockets, at the same time, will make him feel on top of the world.

1.      Spend time with dad: In the midst of all the hustle and bustle of life, we hardly find time to spend with family, least of all fathers. Make it a point to spend quality time with him, watching a movie together, playing his favourite sport etc.

2.      For the creative bugs: If you have the creative bend and can write creatively, write a short poem describing your feelings for dad. No matter the words, he will love every bit of it and even show it off to his friends.

3.      Make a family collage: Dig out some old pictures of your dad (the older the better) from his younger days. Put it up in a collage, frame and gift him on this special day.

4.      Whip up his favourite meal: ‘The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach’ holds true here. Cook his favourite dish, say a dessert or snack and watch the smile spread across his face as he relishes it to the last bite.

5.      Paint him blue: Those good at painting, let your imagination run wild. Sketch a portrait or caricature of dad and watch him grin from tongue to cheek. He will surely frame it for memory’s sake.

6.      Father's day out: It’s the perfect day for a family outing to your dad's favourite place. Plan in advance so there are no last minute tensions. Go fishing, play his favourite sport and don’t forget to liven up his spirits with his most preferred food. Gift him a day that is truly his.

7.    Surprise him with a gift: Small or big, expensive or cheap, a gift is a gift. While the common options are cards, flowers, clothing, gadgets, etc., homemade gifts are more appreciated for it is the best way to shower your affection. He will cherish and treasure them more than material gifts.
