The 4th edition of Carols and Carnival, organised by Rotary Club of Cochin City in association with The Times of India was a grand success
Christmas celebrations were at its peak at The Gymkhana club on 7th December, with rotary clubs across the city competing in various competitions such as Christmas tree and crib decoration contests, carol Singing and dance competitions.
Dr Ajay Kumar,
Rotary District Governor, presented the Vocational Excellence Award to Jerry
Amaldev, renowned music director, for his contributions to the world of music
and his sincere efforts to put together a team of musical professionals under
the banner of “Sing India with Jerry Amaldev” for the promotion of carol music.
Dr Prakash
Chandran, District Governor Nominee Designate, declared the carnival open. Live bands, stalls, fireworks, games and lucky draws completed the
fun-filled glittering evening of fellowship and merry.
